Macomb County Society offers the lowest membership rates in Southeast Michigan!

Recognizing the importance of maintaining a vibrant, growing, and effective physician organization, for 2027 we have reduced our annual membership dues from $260 to $100 for Active Members and $20 for Residents/Fellows, making membership affordable for all physicians in Macomb County.

Whether you’re a solo practitioner, member of a group practice, or employed by a health care system, the Macomb County Medical Society (MCMS) is focused exclusively on advocating for our local physician members, across a wide-range of specialties. We offer opportunities for our members to share resources, discuss ideas and network with other physicians throughout the county and state. We recognize there is strength in numbers and we provide a local unified voice for physicians.

What Does Your $100 Membership Provide?

Your membership supports:
• Legislative and physician advocacy – Helping ensure that the concerns of physicians and their patients are heard by policymakers.
• A local voice for organized medicine – Providing physicians with an opportunity to discuss and address issues affecting health care in Macomb County.
• Networking with fellow physicians – Free membership dinner meetings provide opportunities to meet colleagues, exchange ideas, and develop professional relationships.
• Leadership opportunities – Participate on committees, serve on the Board, and help shape the future of organized medicine in our county.
• Educational opportunities – Access to educational programs and free CME webinars.
• Macomb Medicus Journal – A free subscription featuring information and articles relevant to physicians and their practices.
• Patient referral opportunities – Resources that may help physicians build and maintain their practices.
• Peer review assistance – Assistance with disputes arising from physician/patient relationships.
• Public relations efforts – Helping promote a positive public understanding of physicians and the medical profession.
• Community involvement – Opportunities to participate with the MCMS Foundation in supporting philanthropic activities throughout our community.

Tax information
The Macomb County Medical Society is a nonprofit 501c(6) organization. MCMS dues are not deductible as a charitable contribution, but 100% of your dues may be deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense.
